The campaign has already become controversial and Benetton was forced to withdraw the image of Pope Benedict kissing the Imam after the Vatican protested. Here's a look at the controversial ad campaign. Is it an example of daring communication or brazen controversy-baiting? You tell us.

Libya’s Gadhafi reportedly captured, killed

SIRTE, Libya (Reuters) - Former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi died of wounds suffered in his capture near his hometown of Sirte on Thursday, a senior NTC military official said.

National Transitional Council official Abdel Majid Mlegta told Reuters earlier that Gaddafi was captured and wounded in both legs at dawn on Thursday as he tried to flee in a convoy which NATO warplanes attacked.

"He was also hit in his head," the official said. "There was a lot of firing against his group and he died."
There was no independent confirmation of his remarks.

Apple Annouces Former CEO Steve Jobs Dead at the age of 56

Apple has confirmed that its co-founder, former CEO and guiding hand, Steve Jobs, died October 5, 2011. . His family has released a statement saying he died "peacefully. Jobs was only 56.

Steve Jobs founded Apple in 1976 with Steve Wozniak, Ronald Wayne and A.C. Markkula Jrwhen he was just 21. Jobs was forced to take several long absences from Apple for treatment after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He underwent surgery for the cancer in 2004 and received a liver transplant in 2009. Earlier this year, Jobs took an indefinite leave of absence from Apple to focus on his health, before finally deciding to step down entirely.

Known as the ‘father’ of Macintosh, Jobs finally announced on August 24th that he would be resigning as CEO of Apple. “I have always said that if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s C.E.O., I would be the first to let you know,” Jobs said in a letter released by the company. “Unfortunately, that day has come.”

According to a press statement released by  his family,

 "Steve died peacefully today surrounded by his family.In his public life, Steve was known as a visionary; in his private life, he cherished his family. We are thankful to the many people who have shared their wishes and prayers during the last year of Steve's illness; a website will be provided for those who wish to offer tributes and memories.

We are grateful for the support and kindness of those who share our feelings for Steve. We know many of you will mourn with us, and we ask that you respect our privacy during our time of grief."

The statement concludes, “We are grateful for the support and kindness of those who share our feelings for Steve.We knowmany of you will mourn with us, and we ask that you respect our privacy  during our time of grief.”

“We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today,” Appleannounced in a press statement. “Steve’s brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve. His greatest love was for his wife, Laurene, and his family. Our hearts go out to them and to all who were touched by his extraordinary gifts.”

Justin, 17, recently revealed he wants to have children when he is in his mid-twenties, in a thinly-veiled hint to the Witches of Waverly Place star.

He said: 'I want to be a young dad, by 25 or 26 I want to see myself, like, married or start looking for a family.'

While his words might send the Beliebers - his army of loyal fans - into a frenzy, the person who should be excited is 19-year-old Selena, who Bieber calls 'amazing' in the interview.

It seems his hardcore fans can relax as he was quick to point out that they won't be getting married any time soon saying: 'One thing...I'm not looking to get married now.'

However this qualifier could just be publicity bluster, as the pair seem to be sharing some seriously strong puppy love.

However their relationship is being tested, as the couple have to spend so much time apart due to their busy careers.

However Justin does seem to be thinking about how he can use his fame to do something positive.

Discussing his difficult upbringing with single mother Patti Mallette, he said: 'I love what I do but I think it’s important to give back, especially for me. I was less fortunate. I didn’t have a lot. I grew up in geared-to-income housing. It was always rough for me.

'We went to the food drive all the time. I always thought, 'If I ever get rich or famous, I will help people who are less fortunate than me.''

And yesterday, Victoria was spotted giving her gorgeous little girl a cuddle as she and her sons Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, nine, and six-year-old Cruz headed to The Grove to introduce Harper to the celebrity lifestyle.

Victoria teamed her black dress with a pair of flat black pumps, apparently having decided to heed doctors' advice to ditch the heels because of a painful back condition. The day before, Victoria had donned six-inch Christian Louboutin heels while David held baby Harper.

She is said to have slipped a disc while she was pregnant, after continuing to wear high heels even in the latter stages of expecting.

The injury was said to have been exacerbated by the caesarean operation for Harper’s birth in Los Angeles, where former England captain David now plays his football.

It involves eating five handful-sized portions of high-protein food daily, including smoked salmon, yellowfin tuna sushi and scrambled eggs.

According to some reports, Victoria is already back down to a tiny US size zero (British size 4).

Speaking recently about how she stays in shape, mother-of-four Victoria said: '[I run] Four, five miles every day on the treadmill. For me, I like the fact that, mentally, I can get off whenever I want.'

But passionate designer Victoria is no doubt looking forward to getting back to work with the New York showcase.

In an interview earlier this year, Victoria said while things are more than a little busy in her life, she wouldn't change it.

She explained: 'As any working mum out there knows, it really is like juggling glass balls when you’ve got the kids and a husband to look after, and you’re passionate about your career. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m blessed.'

Britney Spears denies reports she's set to marry Jason Trawick

A spokesman for the star told MailOnline: 'No Britney is not engaged,' in response to claims talent agent .

     The 29-year-old was spotted with a flower-shaped band on her engagement finger - however it appears it could just be a promise ring.

Rumours the singer was set to wed were reported in The Sun newspaper today, with the publication claiming 39-year-old Jason proposed by writing a romantic poem and filling the ground floor of their Los Angeles home with roses and candles.

The newspaper said they are planning a low-key wedding in Hawaii after the singer and mother of two finishes her world tour.

A source told the publication: 'Britney's desperate to settle down again and have more children. 

'But she is very traditional and didn't want to start a family with Jason until they'd tied the knot.'

In a recent interview with Us Magazine, Britney dropped a strong hint that she was planning to tie the knot with Jason, saying 'never say never,' when asked if they were planning to walk down the aisle any time soon.

Britney has been dating the Hollywood agent for two years and he has become close with her two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James

Spears, who kicks off her Femme Fatale tour later this month, also told U.S. Harper’s Bazaar magazine that she has already considered marriage and kids with talent agent Trawick, who was also her manager until just last month.

'I've thought about both. So if the timing was right...' she said, before going on to reveal how happy she is after overcoming extreme personal problems in recent years.

‘I feel like I'm drinking a tall glass of homemade sweet tea on a really hot, beautiful day,’ she said.

The couple have been together for two years during which their relationship has quietly gone from strength to strength.

Twice-divorced Spears had a notoriously short-lived wedding to childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004 that was annulled after just 55 hours.
